A protected area Forest Park is an urban forest reserve located in the Tualatin Mountains (West Hills) in Portland, Oregon. The are covers approximately 5,172.14 acres. Forest Park is a beautiful forest filled with luscious thick trees and breathtaking views with multiple creeks throughout its trails. It’s an amazing area in such an urban location.
Highest Point: Ridge Crest near Northwest Skyline Boulevard. Elevations: 50ft. (lowest point) to 1,100ft (highest point).

Silver Falls
Silver Falls State Park is a stunningly beautiful place in Silverton, Oregon located almost 20 miles east of the state capital Salem, Oregon. Its area is the largest state park in Oregon with more than 9,000 acres in area. Trails complete a more than 24 miles in distance.
Silver Falls State Park has a total of more than 9 falls. Two of its most beautiful and popular falls are South Falls, a 177 ft. cascade and Double Falls, a 178 ft cascade plunging into Silver Creek Canyon. The park has been used in the filming locations for The Hunted (2003) and Twiglight (2008).
